Mist Detailing - Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions outline Mist Detailing's policies and procedures and apply to all customers of Mist Detailing (https://mistautodetailing.com). By scheduling an appointment or accepting services, you agree to be bound by the terms set forth below.

1. Our Philosophy Mist Detailing is committed to providing a stress-free, professional detailing experience. Proper and safe detailing techniques are our top priority. We will not perform any service that risks damaging your vehicle. Prior to service, customers are required to disclose any mechanical or cosmetic issues that may affect the detailing process (e.g., low battery, inoperable trunk, malfunctioning windows).

Vehicles must be free from any hazardous materials, including but not limited to drugs, needles, and gasoline. Failure to disclose such items may result in cancellation and potential liability for resulting safety or health hazards.

Mist Detailing reserves the right to refuse service at its discretion. If your vehicle cannot be detailed upon arrival due to your absence or vehicle condition, a service call fee may be applied at our discretion to cover time and travel.

2. Appointments & Scheduling Our team strives to arrive as close to your scheduled time as possible. Unexpected delays may occur, but we will notify you in such cases.

Prices vary depending on vehicle size, condition, and service package. Additional charges may apply for:

Heavy stains
Excessive pet hair
Trash or debris removal
Steam cleaning
Removal of personal items

3. Property Damage & Liability By accepting service, you agree to release Mist Detailing, including its owners, staff, and affiliates, from liability for any damage, injury, or loss that may occur during or as a result of services performed at or near your property. As a mobile detailing service, there are inherent risks associated with working in various locations, and you acknowledge and accept these risks.

We will not remove or install:

Car seats
Custom equipment (seat covers, sound systems, light bars, bumper stickers, etc.) If you wish areas under such items to be cleaned, please remove them before your appointment.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
A full charge hold is placed on your card 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Bookings with multiple vehicles are considered multiple appointments and are subject to separate cancellation fees.

If canceling within 24 hours, you may:

Reschedule (charge still applies, no added cost)
Cancel with a $50 fee (must be more than 6 hours before appointment)
Convert payment to a gift card for future use (not valid for fleet/business vehicles)

Appointments over $400 require 48 hours’ notice for changes or cancellations. Late notice may result in being charged a penalty fee.

5. Payment We accept cash and credit/debit cards. Payment is due upon service completion. Online card payments will not be charged until after service is complete. NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) will result in a $30 fee.

6. Photos & Videos By accepting service, you grant permission for Mist Detailing to take photos or videos of your vehicle for promotional purposes. These will never be sold or shared with third parties.

7. Damage, Accidents & Liability Waiver

Mist Detailing is not responsible for minor cosmetic damage related to standard detailing.
We are liable for major damage caused by our gross negligence or misconduct, and we reserve the right to approve the repair vendor.
Any damage or concern must be reported within 24 hours of service, and a touch-up service may be scheduled within 5 days.

By accepting our services, you agree not to hold Mist Detailing, its staff, or affiliates liable for any damages, losses, or claims that may arise after the completion of service, unless directly caused by proven negligence or misconduct.

8. Data Privacy & Protection Mist Detailing operates in Alabama, USA, and is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with applicable U.S. privacy laws. Any personal information collected will be used solely for service and communication purposes and will not be shared with unauthorized third parties.

By booking an appointment or accepting services from Mist Detailing, you agree to the terms above.
